Career Transitions

There are so many career options out there; how does a high school student choose a starting point? Where can they go to learn about different careers and industries? How do they know if they will get a return on their investment into post-secondary education or training? Are they aware of opportunities in the trades?

Where can local businesses go to connect with and inspire their future workforce?

Career Transitions is dedicated to supporting students to explore career pathways by partnering with forward thinking business and industry professionals. Together, we create an awareness of the wide variety of future opportunities that exist right here in Southwestern Alberta.

Our programs are experiential, interactive and help students to figure out what sparks their interests. EPIC (Exploring Possible Industries and Careers) Day, Southwest Regional Skills Canada competitions, virtual Career Exploration Sessions and Cardboard Boat Races are a few of the ways in which we deliver impactful career exploration for middle and high school students in our region.
