Joshil Surgery & Rehabilitation

6 year old Joshil has a contracted right achilles tendon.  The condition is called Post Injection Paralysis and is caused by damage to his sciatic nerve following a poorly administered injection for malaria when he was 1 year old.  His foot is fixed in the current position which means he walks on the ball of his foot with his heel in the air.  Because of this he cannot walk long distances and can't play with the other kids.

He needs surgery to release the achilles, rehabilitation, and a brace to get his foot functioning correctly and restoring his childhood.
