Healthpreneurs in India

One in four villages in India do not have access to the basics. Simple sanitation and healthcare – a toilet and a place to wash your hands. Opportunity healthpreneurs are determined to change that. With your support one health entrepreneur and leader in the community will be trained in basic hygiene, nutrition and first aid and she in turn will provide up to 200 households or 1000 family members in her community with lifesaving practices.  As an entrepreneur, she will also receive the capital needed to run her health related microbusinesses providing high-demand products such as soap, simple medications and sanitary napkins.
