Hunger insecure children do not receive sufficient meals or nutrition on the weekend; therefore, they are at a disadvantage the moment they walk into school. The Blessings in a Backpack program addresses this problem by providing children with food insecurities with a backpack containing enough food to provide six meals during the weekend. By working together, we can ensure thriving children and America’s future. With your help we will allow 31 new children to join the program, providing 7,418 weekend meals.
